Inconel 601 Sheets & Plates

The Inconel 601 plates are used in many industrial applications like for heat-treating retorts & muffles, steam superheater tube supports, radiant tubes and also in catalyst support grid into the nitric acid production. Furthermore, these plates are also used in tube supports, combustion chambers and in ash trays into the power generation industry. The sheets are used in rotary kilns & calciners and so on.

Inconel 601 sheets/plates possess many good properties to offer. It is like very good resistance to general corrosion, oxidation, SCC, crevice corrosion, etc. It is also having high tensile strength, good dimensional accuracy, smooth finishes, longevity, flexibility, etc.

Inconel 601 alloy is a chromium & nickel-based alloy that is used in the applications that are demanding resistance to heat and corrosion. This nickel alloy stands out because of high-temperature oxidation resistance. Also, it remains greatly oxidation resistant at the temperature 2200 deg F. This material has developed a very tight supporter oxide scale that is resisting spalling into the thermal cycling conditions. It is having very good temperature strength, ductility in addition to resistance to aqueous corrosion. It can be easily welded, formed and machined.
